Sacred Circle

Sacred Circle

Within the Timelessness of the Circle lies spiritual Wisdom, the Absolute perfection and the restoration of universal harmony, the boundless cyclical manifestation of which we are an inseparable part of.

A Hopi elder once said that we are all flowers in the Great Sprit’s Garden ant that the Earth Mother is our common parent. For this we can call one another brothers and sisters.

Due to historical circumstances SA Pagans became a nation of great warriors who fought their way to recognition and equal rights. In very many ways we still carry war in our hearts. A brave will be a brave. A warrior will be a warrior. A Kshattriya will be a Kshattriya. But the gods tell us that things have evolved and as such our time is passing. They need us to stand together and birth the future leaders of peace and equality; tomorrow’s leaders who will show us humility and give us honour and respect.

Peace is not simply the absence of war but the ability to preserve harmony between individuals and all of the universal creation.

Let us grow quiet, just for a short while, for in the silence of knowledge, we learn courage, self-control, patience, reverence, dignity, forbearance and endurance. In the quietness of reflection, poise, peace of mind and the tranquility of body and spirit one cultivates the nerve to remain unshaken in the throughout the raging storm. Silence is a virtue! Silence builds character!

And now that the clamour of battle is over, let us remember that our own personal importance matters little in the big scheme of things. Let us put aside who we are to collectively remember the Ancient Ways.

Our forefathers gave us many Laws and these Laws were good for us. They taught us to believe in the brotherhood of man, never to lie, never to strike unfair bargains and to treat everybody in love and trust.

In their honour, let us remember that we are all one in the Sacred Circle.
